Hi! Welcome to my site! I'm so happy that you found me!

I've been in the field of ABA for nearly 20 years! Like many of you, I started off as a behavior therapist (that's what we called then back then) and moved my way up to a senior therapist, a clinical supervisor, Clinical Director and a VP of Clinical Services. I was a BCaBA and finally dropped the little 'a' to be a full-grown BCBA.

I've been through all of the struggles. Long days, taking work home, endless reports due, feelings of anxiety when my phone rang or when I got a message notification. I often didn't know where to start and felt like the cycle never ended. I ended up neglecting myself and my needs. I felt guilty for so many things! Not spending time with my family, not making time for myself, not feeling like I'd ever make an impact...I was burnt out!

I have created tools and systems to help organize, prioritize and manage my time at work. I have learned to set boundaries. I've rediscovered what I enjoy outside of work so that I feel recharged and motivated to work. I've stopped feeling guilty when I focus on myself and prioritize my personal life.
